After a pretty long hiatus we finally have a UFC card to breakdown and a damn good one at that. This main card has it all, from long time veterans like Diego Sanchez to hot new prospects like Alexa Grasso and Marcin Held. All headlined by what should be a fantastic fight in Rafael dos Anjos versus Tony Ferguson. We also can look forward to seeing the likes of; Ricardo Lamas, Charles Oliveira, Beneil Dariush and Rashid Magomedov.
Rafael dos Anjos vs Tony Ferguson
Not only is this a really exciting fight, it's also a tough one to call. Both fighters are very skilled and match up well with each other. Dos Anjos was on a tear through the lightweight division before losing his belt to Eddie Alvarez. Ferguson on the other hand is on an insane eight fight winning streak, getting Performance of the Night in his last four fights. I except both to try and get it done on the feet, but if the fight does hit the mat dos Anjos is going to have to be careful to avoid Ferguson's slick submission game. I'm picking dos Anjos in this one but its really a toss up. The key to winning for dos Anjos is he'll have to keep Ferguson guessing on the outside using his strong leg and high kicks to slow down Ferguson and negate his excellent boxing. Diego Sanchez vs Marcin Held

This could be a changing of the guard for Diego Sanchez. Sanchez has been in countless wars over the years even before winning the very first Ultimate Fighter. Now he faces a young and hungry fighter making his UFC debut. Marcin Held has been a main stay and top competitor over at Bellator for a couple years now and even though he failed to get that organizations belt he's been seen by most as a promising prospect. This all being said Diego Sanchez is game in every fight he's in and it's possible that he could overwhelm Marcin with his aggression. However, I think Marcin will be able to play matador against Sanchez's raging bull to get the win, though I don't think he'll be able to get one of his famous leg submission off on Diego. Marcin by decision.

Ricardo Lamas vs Charles Oliveira
This is a great match up with two of the best featherweights in the divisions. Both are coming off losses, Lamas losing a decision to Max Holloway and Oliveira losing a decision as well to Anthony Pettis. What's interesting here is the clash of styles; both are good on the feet, but Lamas is a bit more of a wrestler and Oliveira more of a slick jiu-jitsu artist. It'll be interesting to see what happens if the fight goes to the ground because Oliveira has a very threatening guard. My money is on Lamas being able to use his size and physicality to control Oliveira and get the decision. Lamas by decision.

Of the main card fights we're breaking down, I feel like this one might be the lease entertaining. Both fighters have strong grappling backgrounds and I can see this fight being a battle of the clinch and who, if either, can wrestler the other one down. That being said Daruish is actually coming off a great KO win over James Vick so Magomedov has to be wary of Daruish's heavy hands. A tough fight to call but I feel confident in Magomedov, mostly because his last win over Gilbert Burns who's also a strong grappler. Magomedov by decision.

Alexa Grasso vs Heather Jo Clark
This one should just be fun. Alexa is a fantastic prospect coming from Invicta with an undefeated record of 8-0. She has great hands and hits very hard for the weight class. On the other hand Heather Jo Clark is a game fighter with an iron will. On paper Jo Clark has an up hill battle, but she's really acquitted herself nicely in her last couple fights, even in defeat to the next title contender Karolina Kowalkiewicz. Grasso by 2nd round TKO.
